SCOPE OF WORK

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for curating the structure of server-side information at The Jetstream cross-border trading platform is developed on a scalable web architecture, and in conjunction with the business/operations team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of product components including development, testing, deployment, and ; You will be a key contributor to design, architecture, and technology-related decisions, while also providing guidance and mentorship to more junior members of the

Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work on highly scalable web applications in Laravel, Python and Openness to learning new
  

• Deploy, test, and monitor web applications in containerized environments on AWS
  

• Identify system performance issues and find solutions to optimize them
  

• Develop utility scripts that help with further automating our build, testing, deployment, and monitoring process
  

• Develop and document data models, system architecture & process flows
  

• Compose and maintain Docker container
  

• Create and maintain Continuous integration & deployment
  

• Take ownership of running User acceptance tests & complete sprint
  

• Write effective feature and unit tests for application features developed
  

• Prioritize security as a part of the development lifecycle
  

• Manage & maintain established core DevSecOps
  

MUST HAVES

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in building scalable products with Laravel, Python, and
  

• Excellent knowledge of relational databases ( PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases ( MongoDB).
  

• Experience working on third-party API integrations and Web
  

• Experience with Application Testing Libraries / Frameworks ( Pest, PhpUnit).
  

• Experience using system monitoring tools ( Sentry, New Relic) and automated testing frameworks are a pl
  

• Experience working on cloud infrastructure and microservices on AWS is a pl
  

• Exposure to Continuous Integration/Delivery pipeline for cloud including GitHub Actions, Sonar, Docker,
