ملخص الوظيفة
Electrical Draftsman will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed electrical drawings and layouts for infrastructure and utility projects. The role involves developing shop drawings as-built drawings and coordination layouts in compliance with design specifications authority standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed electrical drawings layouts and schematics for infrastructure systems including MV/LV networks street lighting power distribution and control systems.

Develop shop drawings as-built drawings and cable routing layouts based on design inputs and site requirements.

Coordinate with electrical engineers and other disciplines (civil mechanical instrumentation) to ensure drawing accuracy and avoid clashes.

Update and revise drawings in line with design modifications construction changes and site markups.

Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications standards and authority requirements.

Assist in preparing single-line diagrams (SLDs) wiring diagrams and termination details.

Support engineers in preparing quantity take-offs and material schedules from drawings.

Maintain organized drawing files revision logs and proper documentation.

Ensure timely submission of drawing deliverables according to project schedules.
Qualifications and Experience:
-
Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or Drafting.

Minimum 58 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman in infrastructure or utility projects (e.g. roads tunnels substations or pumping stations).

Proficient in AutoCAD (2D); experience with Revit Civil 3D or Navisworks is an advantage.

Strong understanding of electrical systems for infrastructure such as power distribution lighting earthing and control cabling.

Familiar with international and local standards (IEC SEC NEC BS etc.).

Ability to interpret design drawings specifications and engineering sketches.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
-
Experience working in Design & Build (D&B) infrastructure environments.

Familiarity with BIM coordination workflows and multidisciplinary model integration.

Strong coordination and communication skills.
-
Ability to support site teams with drawing clarifications and updates.
