Position: Network & Security Engineer (L2)
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Network & Security Engineer (L2) to manage monitor and secure enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in network troubleshooting security technologies and handling escalated issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure manage and troubleshoot network and security devices (routers switches firewalls)
- Handle escalated issues from L1 support and collaborate with L3 engineers
- Monitor network performance and ensure high availability
- Perform network optimization and implement improvements
- Conduct security assessments and remediation activities
- Implement and support network security policies and procedures
- Work with monitoring tools such as PRTG and SolarWinds
- Prepare and maintain HLD and LLD documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure secure and efficient operations
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in network and security
- Certifications required: NSE4 and CCNA
- Hands-on experience with Fortinet Palo Alto and Cisco technologies
- Experience in firewalls proxies WAN optimization and load balancing
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
