Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Computer Specialist (Level II / III) to support system operations programming and network administration. This role is responsible for maintaining computer systems developing applications supporting network infrastructure and providing technical training to ensure efficient and secure operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate maintain repair and program computer systems and application
- Design administer and support Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN)
- Manage network infrastructure including cabling routers and TCP/IP configurations
- Support system environments including Windows Server (Active Directory) legacy Windows platforms and Microsoft Office applications with Arabic support
- Develop and maintain applications templates and databases using Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Access)
- Provide help desk support and troubleshoot hardware software and network issues
- Prepare system documentation including user manuals procedures flowcharts and diagrams
- Develop program logic file structures and system workflows
- Support AS/400 systems and OS/400 operations (if applicable)
- Conduct On-the-Job Training (OJT) for personnel on computer systems and applications
- Ensure system security data integrity and operational continuity
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelors degree in computer science or information or electrical engineering and have successfully completed specialized training in Computer Programming at an accredited four (4) year college is highly desired.
- Experience per SCA for Computer Operator 2 (14042).
- Experience per SCA for Computer Operator 3 (14043).
- Must operate repair and program computer systems applications templates and network workgroups for IBM compatible and Apple computer systems in accordance with programming principles for Windows Server 2003 (Active Directory) and XP Configuration Windows 95/98 with Arabic Support Windows NT Microsoft Office 4.2 and Office 97 with Arabic Support Microsoft Access 2.0 and 7.0. Design and administer Local Area Network (LAN) Wide Area Network (WAN) networks. Must handle network cabling and infrastructure help desk procedures and Transport Control Protocol/Internet Protocol and WAN (Routers).
- Conduct On-The-Job Training to RSLFAC personnel and/or other personnel as needed to support use of various computer programs for word processing mathematics applications network messaging and database management.
- Support the contract as network administrator for the RSLFAC LAN.
- Prepare documentation as required to record and announce system changes update users manuals project proposals program logic flow charts file/storage descriptions input/output formats and other operating procedures.
- Prepares flow charts block diagrams and flow diagrams to outline personnel routines or computer operations based on the departmental requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to program and build applications using Microsoft Word Excel Power Point and Access with Arabic Support and Corel Graphics is highly desired.
- Demonstrated ability to program and build applications using Arabic Word Processing and other programs that work with Apple computers (Power PC preferred) is highly desired.
- Working knowledge of the IBM AS/400 Computer system and OS/400 operating system is highly desired.
- Contractor must have the ability to speak read and understand the Arabic and English Languages to include technical language fluently.
Medical Examination: Candidates must successfully complete all mandatory medical examinations required to obtain employment.
Criminal Record: To qualify for a Saudi Work Visa candidates must have a clean criminal record with no prior convictions as specified by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Drug and Alcohol Testing: Candidates must pass a drug test to be considered for employment. Additionally our program enforces a random drug and alcohol testing policy. Employees will be subject to periodic testing to maintain adherence to our workplace standards and safety regulations.
