Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mechanical Engineer with 2 to 3 years of experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation handson experience in site engineering or supervision and the ability to contribute to project execution maintenance planning and mechanical system operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise mechanical installations maintenance and commissioning activities at project sites.
Review engineering drawings P&IDs and mechanical designs to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Coordinate with contractors technicians and crossfunctional teams to execute mechanical works safely and efficiently.
Monitor and ensure adherence to quality safety and environmental standards in all engineering activities.
Prepare maintenance schedules monitor equipment performance and recommend corrective actions.
Assist in procurement of mechanical equipment evaluating technical bids and vendor documents.
Prepare and maintain project documentation including daily progress reports and inspection checklists.
Support root cause analysis for mechanical failures and propose engineering solutions.
Participate in site audits HSE meetings and risk assessments to promote a safe work environment.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree () in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
2 to 3 years of relevant work experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical sector.
Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASME API etc.) used in mechanical engineering projects.
