Technical Expertise:

Expertise in enterprise storage technologies SAN NAS and Object Storage (Dell EMC NetApp HPE Pure Storage etc.).
Strong experience with Backup Replication and Recovery solutions (Commvault Veeam Veritas NetBackup Azure Backup Rubrik etc.).
Deep knowledge of IaaS PaaS and SaaS storage and data protection architecture Proficiency in cloud-native storage and backup services (Azure Blob Azure Files AWS S3 EBS Glacier etc.).
Hands-on experience in storage performance tuning high availability design and data lifecycle management.
Skilled in data deduplication compression snapshot and replication mechanisms.
Strong scripting and automation experience using PowerShell Python or Ansible for storage and backup operations.
Expertise in cross-region replication DR setup and resiliency solutions (Azure Site Recovery Zerto etc.).
Comprehensive understanding of encryption key management and compliance frameServicess (GDPR ISO 27001).
Experience integrating and managing storage monitoring tools (SolarWinds Zabbix NetApp Active IQ or vendor-native platforms).
Knowledge of tiered storage archival solutions and cost optimization strategies for long-term data retention.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design architecture and deployment of secure scalable and resilient cloud and on-premises infrastructure solutions.
Design implement and oversee enterprise storage and backup solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
Lead the evaluation selection and deployment of nextgeneration storage and data protection technologies.
Manage storage and backup capacity planning performance monitoring and optimization.
Establish and maintain data protection standards policies and disaster recovery procedures.
Collaborate with infrastructure security and application teams to ensure data availability integrity and compliance.
Automate provisioning monitoring and reporting for storage and backup environments.
Ensure consistent data protection strategies across hybrid and multi-cloud platforms.
Lead root cause analysis and remediation for complex storage and backup incidents.
Maintain accurate documentation for architecture configurations and operational runbooks.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field
Attain one or more advanced certifications from the following domains:

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) / Azure

- Storage Specialist

- AWS Certified Advanced NetServicesing or Storage Specialty

- Dell EMC Proven Manpower (Specialist/Expert Level) / NetApp

- Certified Data Administrator Manpower

- Commvault Certified Expert (CCE) / Veeam Certified Architec

- (VMCA) / Veritas Certified Manpower (VCP)

- ITIL Intermediate or higher

1012 years of total IT experience with at least 57 years specializing in enterprise storage backup and disaster recovery management.
Proven experience designing implementing and leading hybrid (on-premises and cloud) storage and backup solutions.
Hands-on experience with performance optimization capacity management and automation of data protection operations
