Job Summary
We are seeking a Trucking Accountant to join our team in Port Said Egypt. The role is responsible for managing trucking-related financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency. Key responsibilities include receiving and recording official receipts calculating and verifying trucking costs and preparing and issuing invoices in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
Main job responsibilities:
- Handle daily trucking accounting operations including invoicing payment processing and reconciliation.
- Track monitor and analyze trucking expenses to ensure cost control and efficiency.
- Prepare review and maintain accurate financial records related to trucking activities.
- Support in preparing financial reports summaries and analysis for management.
Competencies / Skills:
- Proficient in computer skills including MS Office (Excel Word Outlook).
- Strong command of the English language (written & spoken).
- Positive and proactive attitude with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Commerce Accounting or Finance.
- 25 years of relevant experience in accounting or the logistics/transportation industry.
- Must be a resident of Port Said.
