Job Title: Country Sales Manager
Location: Tanzania
Reports To: Regional/Managing Director
Industry: HVAC

Job Summary

The Country Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and driving sales operations across the entire country managing a team of 15 50 staff and ensuring that sales targets are consistently achieved. The role requires a seasoned leader with at least 5 years of managerial experience exceptional strategic thinking strong leadership and analytical skills to maximize revenue growth enhance customer relationships and ensure optimal team performance.

Key Responsibilities

Drive National Sales

  • Lead sales efforts across all regions of the country to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities to expand business reach.
  • Sales Strategy Development & Execution
  • Design implement and oversee effective sales strategies aligned with the company s objectives.
  • Continuously evaluate and adjust sales plans based on market performance and trends.
Team Management

  • Lead mentor and motivate a sales team of 15 50 members to deliver high performance.
  • Set clear performance goals provide regular feedback and oversee training and development.
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers partners and stakeholders.
  • Resolve escalated client issues promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction.

Marketing & Market Analysis

  • Analyze market trends competitor activities and customer needs to inform strategy.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Track sales performance against targets preparing detailed monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Use data-driven insights to improve sales processes and outcomes.

Leadership & Analytical Skills

Demonstrate strong decision-making skills effective problem-solving and adaptability in a dynamic market.
  • Lead by example fostering a results-oriented and collaborative work culture.


Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Sales Marketing or related field (Master s degree is an advantage).
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a managerial sales role managing 15 50 staff.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful sales strategies.
  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel across the country as required.
