Systems Engineer (SecOps)
Location: Cairo Egypt
Our Team
The Fortinet Systems Engineering team is a group of technically skilled and commercially astute professionals who are passionate about solving our customers challenges through the delivery of industryleading Cybersecurity solutions.
We are looking for a Systems Engineer working in a dedicated SecOps Team mainly with our sales representatives on SecOps opportunities and as well with the channel representatives to grow the Fortinet SecOps partner landscape across the region. The SecOps Systems Engineers main mission will be to support the sales presales and channel organization in all SecOps technical matters regarding PoCs presales sales calls and postsales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build advisory relationships with customers focusing on Fortinet SecOps solutions.
- Support customers and partners alongside sales through the entire opportunity lifecycle from the initial RFIs through to RFPs & RFQs when required.
- Be the primary technical point of contact for the customer(s) and partners in close collaboration with your sales partner.
- Continuously strive to improve knowledge around the Fortinet products and solutions along with maintaining a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and Fortinets ability to provide longlasting protection against the everevolving threats.
- Oversee and conduct demonstrations of the solutions ensuring Fortinets offerings are well positioned against competitors.
- Customize solutions to meet complex customer requirements emphasizing the integration of Fortinet components for seamless security strength.
- Manage your time effectively when working on multiple deals simultaneously ensuring a positive customer experience is maintained.
Experience/ skills:
- Deep experience in technical/presales support preferably at a security vendor or SecOps vendor.
- BSC or equivalent and 5 years of experience with technical SE / SA and SOC.
- Strong understanding in concepts of mitigating attack vectors and defence in depth.
- Strong knowledge and comfortable with high degree of activities in API scripting Python Golang Shell scripting.
- Strong knowledge of Security Operation Centre workflow Incident Analysis and Incident Handling approach.
- Excellent Knowledge and Technical hands on the following SecOps technologies: SIEM SOAR EDR Deception Sandboxing and NDR.
- Experience in cyber security for operational technology excellent understanding of the risks and opportunities.
- Experience in building business with customers and partners.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Fluency in English.
