We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Inspector to join our team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. In this critical role you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical systems in various construction projects throughout the region.
- Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical systems including HVAC plumbing and fire protection to verify compliance with project specifications and industry standards
- Review and analyze contractor shop drawings and submittals to ensure alignment with project requirements
- Monitor the installation testing and commissioning of mechanical systems confirming proper functionality and performance
- Identify non-conformances and collaborate with contractors and engineers to implement effective corrective actions
- Maintain detailed inspection reports logs and records for quality control and compliance tracking
- Witness and document critical tests such as pressure tests leak tests and system start-ups
- Verify the quality of materials workmanship and equipment installations to ensure adherence to project specifications
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
- Stay updated on relevant codes regulations and industry best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and ensure timely project completion
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Construction Architecture Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction inspection specifically related to mechanical systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and familiarity with project management systems
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC plumbing and fire protection
- Experience in reviewing contractor shop drawings and submittals (preferred)
- OSHA 10-hour training certification (preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with industry standards codes and regulations related to mechanical systems
- Valid work permit for Saudi Arabia
- Willingness to travel within Riyadh and surrounding areas
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
