Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Coordinator to support our purchasing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing supplier relationships issuing purchase orders tracking deliveries and ensuring cost-effective procurement across various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compare prices and offers from current suppliers with alternatives in the market to ensure competitiveness.
- Issue and follow up on purchase orders with all approved suppliers.
- Maintain and update delivery schedules for warehouses and showrooms especially for Jarir orders and coordinate with the requesting departments.
- Manage uniform procurement for all departments as needed.
- Obtain at least three competitive quotations from different vendors for each purchase.
- Handle regular procurement needs for exhibitions (hospitality materials) and internal office use.
- Accurately record all expenses in a shared sheet categorized by department and requestor.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook).
- Strong command of English (written and spoken).
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and follow-up abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize effectively.
