DESCRIPTION
The HYROX team is seeking a passionate Junior Procurement Manager Supply Chain Management (m/f/d) to join our fast-growing team in Hamburg.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in procurement operations:
- Prepare process and issue purchase orders and requisitions; analyze invoices for accuracy; and ensure adherence to procurement policies.
Vendor coordination and delivery tracking:
- Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders and delivery schedules; continuously monitor delivery progress; and resolve any discrepancies or delays.
Recordkeeping and system maintenance:
- Update supplier databases charts spreadsheets and internal systems to reflect accurate procurement data.
Monitoring supplier performance:
- Track and assess supplier reliability for quality and timeliness; report issues or delays to the Procurement Manager.
Administrative support and documentation:
- Organize procurement documentation such as contracts POs delivery notes and invoices; assist with filing dashboards or ERP systems.
Logistics and supply chain support:
- Coordinate logistics activities including transportation warehouse coordination and inventory tracking.
Invoicing & payment follow-up:
- Track and follow up on supplier invoices ensuring they are submitted correctly and on time.
- Check procurement and finance systems for invoice approval status resolve mismatches and ensure timely settlement of supplier accounts.
- Maintain an accurate register of all invoices and payments linked to procurement activities.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Educational background: Bachelors or equivalent in Business Administration Supply Chain Management Logistics or a related field.
- Technical skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP/procurement software and financial systems preferred.
- Language skills: Strong proficiency in English for both written and spoken communication
- Soft skills: Excellent attention to detail organizational strength proactive attitude and strong communication skillsboth written and verbal.
- Experience preferences: Internship or coursework experience in procurement supply chain finance or administrative support. Logistics/supply chain background is an advantage.
