Job Description

Raison is an international investment platform for HNWI clients focused on public and alternative markets. We are building a premium product that combines investment expertise cutting-edge technology and a personalized approach.

Tasks

  • Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements of AFSA/AIFC and AIFC regulations.
  • Lead the development and implementation of AML/CTF and sanctions compliance frameworks including risk management functional model structuring and accountability control.
  • Implement a risk-based approach: KYC CDD EDD transaction monitoring sanctions screening and insider list control.
  • Prepare and submit SARs (Suspicious Activity Reports) and TTRs (Threshold Transaction Reports); verify accuracy of submitted information.
  • Liaise with regulators and auditors; prepare quarterly and annual analytical reports for the Board of Directors and senior management.
  • Conduct internal audits and compliance inspections support remediation efforts and implementation of recommendations.
  • Organize and deliver training programs for staff on compliance risks and AML/CTF regulations.
  • Analyze new products and services for potential compliance risks and ensure Compliance Departments involvement in all new initiatives.

Requirements

  • Higher education in Finance Law Economics or International Law.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in AML/CTF compliance or financial control preferably within VASP investment or brokerage firms.
  • Strong knowledge of AFSA/AIFC AML Rules international standards (FATF 5AMLD/6AMLD) sanctions regimes and SEC regulations (in case of U.S. exposure).
  • Professional certifications such as CAMS CCEP CFE or ICA are a plus.
  • Proven experience in KYC/CDD/EDD transaction monitoring sanctions screening and compliance reporting.
  • Experience in liaising with AFSA AIFC and other regulatory bodies.
  • Fluent in English (Upper-Intermediate level or higher).
