Role Summary
TRATON Financial Services is expanding into Morocco broadening our financial services offering to support both Scania and MAN customers as part of our multi-brand growth strategy. We are seeking a driven and dynamic Head of Operations and Managing Director with responsibility to lead our financial services operations together with the Brand Directors for Scania and MAN. This role reports to the Regional Director for TRATON Financial Services and steer the company towards achieving its strategic goals. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our organization drive business expansion together with the Brands and ensuring operational excellence and compliance with Group and Local regulations across all facets of the business.
Job Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with the supervisory body at Bank Al Maghrib Funding banks IT and software suppliers the TFS Morocco Board of Directors TFS central functions internal and external auditors local Brand Directors and colleagues and other relevant stakeholders.
- People Management: Hire train coach and mentor team members. Set performance targets and define development paths. Overall responsibility for People & Culture in the company
- Finance: Leadership responsibility for Accounting Reporting Funding Cash Management Tax
- Financial Performance: Support portfolio development with profitability in line with strategic business plans. Monitor KPIs and facilitate remediation actions as needed. P&L responsibility rests with the Brands.
- Compliance: Ensure the company is operating compliant with group policies and local regulations.
- Credit & Collection: Credit decision structure and governance overall responsibility for collection provisioning models of credit risk. The credit mandate rests with the Brands.
Who you are
- Masters or Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Extensive experience in the financial services sector preferably with a background in commercial vehicle industry or asset-backed financing.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
- Strong interest and experience in the areas of Finance Process IT and Governance Risk and Compliance with a proactive and initiative-driven approach.
- Excellent organizational analytical and communication skills in fluent English preferably also in Arabic and French.
- Ability to build and manage relationships and influence others
