On behalf of our client we are looking for a Sous Chef to join their team in Bahrain.
Job Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen
Supervise kitchen staff and ensure they are following recipes and guidelines
Prepare and cook meals according to the menu and ensure they meet quality standards
Assist in menu planning and development
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
Ensure a clean and sanitary kitchen environment at all times
Train and mentor kitchen staff
Help with administrative tasks such as scheduling and budgeting
Requirements
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail
Certification from a culinary school is a plus
