Job Description Summary
Job Description
INTEGRATION MANAGEMENT
- Setup project management plan (incl strategy) adapted to MultiUnit and Complex environment
- Manage the changes and adapt the objectives & strategy accordingly
- Organize and lead Gate reviews
- Address project management issues (roadblocks performance etc...)
- Contribute significantly to project management process improvements and delivery processes at Unit level
SCOPE MANAGEMENT
- Manage the entire project scope of work
- Analyze Customer requirements.
- Detect errors/inconsistencies within customer requirement. Propose solutions to reduce those gaps and lead the relevant negotiations
- Organize works allocation for all partners from the consortium
TIME MANAGEMENT
- Responsible for delivering the project on time
- Produce and update Master project schedule based on multiunits schedules
- Produce and updates list of key milestones (incl customers) Anticipate ontime delivery issues (documents services equipments)
- Measure project progress and anticipate actions
COST MANAGEMENT
- Take responsibility for the gross margin of the overall project
- Maximize profit and cash at each phase of project .
- Setup targets for consortium partners
- Foresee costs & margins at completion
- Identify cost discrepancies
- Monitor cash evolution and take actions
- Develop monthly sales forecast (in close cooperation with the project controller)
- Develop costs and revenue recovery plans
- Optimize Costs (design to cost negotiation QCD etc) and challenge productivity in all areas directly involved
EHS & QUALITY MANAGEMENT
- Responsible that EHS & quality requirements are followed by GE Vernova teams and subcontractors
- Ensure site quality plan and commissioning procedure are followed
- Manage project acceptance
- Setup and monitors control criteria for quality of works (Engineering CW erection tests & commissioning)
HUMAN RESSOURCES MANAGEMENT
- Setup and drive a project and site organization teams (multisite multiunits)
- Anticipate resources allocation
- Optimize Project team allocation (technical leader PM site finance contract planner etc..).
- Manage multicultural / multilocation teams
- Coach & give feedback in a multicultural environment
COMMUNICATION MANAGEMENT
- Responsible for all aspects of communication within the project in particular to promote communication between Units.
- Ensure Customer satisfaction through effective and healthy communication
- Manage ongoing working relationships with at top decision makers to ensure creative solutions and influence decision
- Provide reporting to customer
- Provide reporting to management
- Monitor multiunits performance through project reviews
RISK & OPPORTUNITY MANAGEMENT
- Conduct Risk Sessions
- Identify and implement risk mitigation plans
- Proactively generate and manage opportunities
- Identify Business / Unit / multiprojects risks and opportunities
CONTRACT & SUPPLIERS MANAGEMENT
- Take responsibility for all aspects of contract management with the Customer suppliers and partners for the overall project(s)
- Ensure full understanding of the Contractual requirements by project team
- Build complex claim and VOs files involving different levels of Customer / Partner(s) / Supplier(s) organization
- Challenge & negotiate T&Cs claims and VOs
- Define monitor and control Customer / Partners / Supplier(s) strategy with regards VOs & claims.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor of Electrical power engineering.
- Register in Saudi council of engineering (SCE).
- 810 years of experience as a Project Manager responsible for defining and managing project scope timelines profitability and effective delivery of products or services.
- Has experience in 132kv and 380kV Substation projects.
- Has PMP certification.
- Has experience with main Saudi Arabia customers such as SEC / NG RC ARAMCO NEOM.
- Experience in managing delivery of customerfacing and internally facing products or services.
- Management of projects within a consortium or partnership environment
- Project Management in an international environment
- Experience of managing multidisciplinary teams with multiple interfaces and high project local content
- Experience of team building and team culture development
- Proven track record of significant improvement of project margin
- Management of projects with severe financial technical and commercial risk
- Willingness to work in different locations for short or medium periods and to travel worldwide.
- Plan & follow procurement & delivery in coordination with procurement department.
- Support procurement department in supplier relationship & conflict management.
- Evaluate quality of deliveries: ontime deliveries quality of products supplied quality of services supplied (documentation)
- Excellent project management skills including prioritization scheduling and documentation.
- Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong grasp of current communication project tracking budget management technologies.
- Excellent meeting workshop and conference facilitation skills with proven knowledge of how to foster attendee participate and collaboration in small and large groups.
- Knowledge and experience of with different project management frameworks including waterfall and agile.
- Solid technical understanding and ability to define and refine requirements through a project lifecycle.
- Employs strong analytical and problemsolving skills to manage shifting priorities demands and timelines.
- Ability to quickly learn understand and apply new technologies.
- Willingly to mentor more junior team members and share knowledge.
- Positive cando attitude with the ability to succeed in a fastpaced work environment.
