Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation testing and commissioning of electrical systems onsite for infrastructure projects including roads and utilities.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications safety standards and local regulations.
- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate of electrical works.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the construction phase.
- Ensure all electrical installations meet quality standards and are completed within project timelines.
- Prepare and maintain detailed site reports documenting progress issues and resolutions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil engineers project managers and other stakeholders.
- Provide technical support and guidance to site personnel and contractors.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 810 years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on site operations.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in electrical design software and tools (e.g. AutoCAD ETAP).
- Strong knowledge of local and international electrical codes and standards.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
