DescriptionNote: This is regarding a long term contract 2 to 4 yearsNote: Due to Visa limitations your application will not be accepted if your nationality is from Iran Iraq Sudan Egypt Israel Congo Afghanistan Libya. Exception if you are already a resident inside Qatar with a valid QID transfer of sponsorship is possible! If you have valid QID and are Qatar resident press NO when asked for :We are looking to hire an Electrical Engineer for a national oil and gas operator in Doha must have a minimum of 1012 years experience in electrical and/or Instrument maintenance in English is a must. Key Responsibilities:Coordinate with all location Electrical engineers to manage Electrical maintenance for nonoperational buildings/facilities at all FM locations Direct and monitor planning tendering and of Electrical maintenance works with cost optimization and compliance to HSSE/relevant proceduresProvides direction and technical assistance to subordinates for handling nonroutine works and/or situations involving high costs to the clients best advantageReviews and approves BOQ/Scopes and Technical Specifications of new tenders for submission to concerned authorities Reviews and approves RO SES and EIP based on manual of authorityParticipates/delegates in pretender meetings and related technical and commercial evaluations on contract bids received and administered by the Electrical section and submits Technical Evaluation reports Provides clarification on technical matters as required by the superiors in this regardCoordinates various activities related to site mobilization of Contractor following issue of Letter of Intent by client arranges various access permits and passes including coordinating the placement of Contractors site offices material storage area and camp as applicable Assists Contractor in the orderly mobilization of facilities equipment and manpower on siteEnsures compliance that the Corporations established contract procedures are being implemented within the Section Develops/reviews maintenance procedures/guidelines/work instruction within the division Familiarizes subordinates with the latest procedures/guidelinesReview/finalize SOW/estimate and SO MWC/LTC/GTC process arrange/attend technical/kickoff meetings and provide input to FM on budgeting Attends or delegates to answer queries related to Direct Order and Limited/General Tender CommitteesPlan and report Electrical works inspection of client buildings/takeover of completed buildings or facilities with user Department and final acceptance from Contractor Arrange inspections of new buildings/accommodations to be leased and finalize reports from subordinates to identify any work that may be required to bring the property up to client standardsReview and finalize justifications cost estimates and outline programmes for new projects/works for inclusion in annual budget and submissions based on input from Sr Electrical Engineers Accept drafts specifications and sketches together with preliminaryestimates for various nonroutine contracts and scheduled contract workDevelop specifications for modifying facilities and or special requirements for clubs and industrial installations participate in determining the availability and quality of materials on the local market and review alternative material sourcesCoordinates with other sections within FM and outside FM for feasibility/work permit/work coordination Attends any other task assigned by superiors Develop year plan and smart objectives guidelines for Electrical team Requirements:Bachelors Degree in Electrical or equivalent with good communication and computer skillsA 1012 years experience in electrical and/or Instrument maintenance work including 7 years at the Supervisory level dealing with costs budgets and contracts and familiarity with the preparation of tender specifications and associated standards pertaining to local and international regulationsA good knowledge of local contractors and an aptitude to understand other disciplines is desirable RequirementsWhere are you locatedWhats your nationalityWhat is your expected salary for this jobWhat is your notice period; when can you engage this jobPlease only apply and press yes if you have read the requirements education experience and certifications and match application wont be accepted if nationality is Iran Iraq Sudan Egypt Israel Congo Afghanistan Libya.
