- Conduct regular health checks on workers especially those exposed to hazardous conditions like noise dust chemicals and heavy machinery.
- Monitor vital signs and assess the overall health status of employees working in the shipyard or construction site.
- Identify potential health risks and preventable diseases advising management on health and safety measures.
- Provide immediate medical attention in case of accidents injuries or medical emergencies including administering first aid and stabilizing patients and Ips(Injured Personnel).
- Respond to emergency situations including heatstroke dehydration accidents involving machinery chemical exposure and falls.
- Ensure the proper functioning of firstaid kits and emergency medical equipment and stock supplies accordingly.
- Treat minor injuries such as cuts abrasions burns and sprains onsite.
- In case of major injuries or accidents ensure proper first aid is administered and coordinate with emergency services to arrange for evacuation to the nearest hospital if needed.
- Maintain detailed records of injuries accidents treatments and followup care.
- Provide health education to workers focusing on injury prevention hygiene the importance of using personal protective equipment (PPE) and how to avoid heatrelated illnesses.
- Conduct training sessions on occupational health and hygiene best practices first aid.
- Regularly inspect the work environment for hazards like poor ventilation exposure to toxic substances and unsafe machinery.
- Collaborate with Shipyard HSSE advisors and Managers to identify and mitigate potential health risks such as exposure to noise chemicals and hazardous materials.
- Advise workers on ergonomics to reduce strain and prevent musculoskeletal injuries.
- Keep accurate records of workers health treatments administered and any medical conditions that may affect their work.
- Prepare and submit reports regarding workplace health conditions incidents or accidents to management and relevant authorities.
- Monitor and report trends in worker health and accidents to improve overall safety protocols.
- Be vigilant about the mental health of workers especially in isolated or highstress environments.
- Provide initial psychological support and counseling especially in cases of stress anxiety or trauma.
- Refer workers to specialized mental health professionals if needed.
- Assist in preemployment health screenings to ensure workers are fit for the physically demanding tasks in the shipyard with collaboration of HSSE Advisors and Manager.
- Advise and coordinate for vaccinations and preventive treatments (such as flu shots) provision to shipyard employees as required.
- Work closely with the Shipyard HSSE Advisors and Manager Supervisors and the Project management team to ensure the health and well being of employees/workers.
- Communicate effectively with other healthcare providers emergency responders and the management team during emergencies.
- Participate in HSSE and operation meetings and provide input on healthrelated issues.

- Previous experience 3 Years working in construction industrial is highly desirable.
- Experience with first aid trauma care and emergency response in highrisk environments is essential.

- Qualifications Certification and Licensures:
- Bachelor s Degree in Nursing (BSN): A fouryear degree from an accredited institution.; OR
- ThreeYear Nursing Diploma: Completed after 12 years of schooling.; OR
- Associate Degree in Nursing: Recognized by the country of current licensures.
- Must be licensed to practice nursing in Qatar (Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners QCHP).
- A current nursing license from the home country or any recognized licensing body is essential.
