The opportunity
As a Senior Consultant your role will involve overseeing compliance risk assessments developing strategies for risk mitigation and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards related to conduct and consumer protection.
In the Risk Management Financial Crime Compliance team you will be expected to provide strategic sourcing services related to regulatory compliance and Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) to our clients in financial services (FS) industry. You are also required to assist organizations to maintain effective and efficient controls in order to manage organizational and strategic risks. Also to be able to contribute to our advisory business in FCC where advisory services on FCC target operating models business processes and internal controls follow regulatory requirements without compromising on customer experience that are provided to the client.

Stay updated with the latest regulatory requirements related to conduct risk market conduct and consumer protection
Develop and update policies and procedures to align with regulatory standards ensuring they address conduct risk and consumer protection effectively
Design and implement a robust conduct risk framework that includes risk identification assessment mitigation and monitoring processes
Perform detailed reviews of market conduct practices to identify potential risks and ensure adherence to regulatory expectations and industry best practices
Design training sessions for employees on conduct risk market conduct and consumer protection regulations to foster a culture of compliance and ethical behavior
Conduct compliance monitoring audits and assessments to track compliance with conduct risk and consumer protection regulations
Prepare detailed reports for senior management highlighting compliance status identified risks and remediation actions taken
Utilize data analytics to identify trends and patterns in conduct risk and consumer behavior. Use these insights to inform risk management strategies and improve consumer protection efforts.
Develop and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) related to conduct risk and consumer protection ensuring timely identification and mitigation of potential issues
Demonstrate experience in managing PMO including project planning and monitoring.
Strong understanding of high conduct risk areas including Complaints Management Product Program Sales Disclosure practices
To qualify for the role you must have:
Strong educational background from a top institution quantitative/ finance/ economics/ actuarial programme.
Min. 25 years of relevant professional experience in a consulting environment a model development or validation team in the financial industry
Experience in working in a projectbased teamoriented environment ideally in the banking sector or consulting with a proven track record of managing teams and delivering in fastpaced and demanding environments.
Excellent analytical reportwriting facilitation and presentation skills
Ability and appetite to drive business development and contribute to the growth of EYs solutions
