Position: Chief Technology Officer
Location: Nairobi Kenya or Kampala Uganda
Reporting to: CEO

Can manage the technology needs
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Championing Innovation & FutureReady Technology
Lead large digital transformation initiatives identify implement and scale technologies that create competitive advantages.
Research test and deploy technologies to improve efficiency and unlock new opportunities.
Create a culture of innovation encouraging experimentation with new solutions.
Build proofofconcept (PoC) projects to validate technologies before fullscale implementation.
Work closely with business leaders to identify pain points and introduce smart scalable tech solutions.
Challenge outdated processes ask Is there a better way and push for improvement.
2. Driving Technology Strategy &
Develop and execute a technology roadmap that accelerates business growth.
Align technology with business goals not just maintaining systems but enabling innovation.
Ensure technology is agile and responsive to rapidly changing business needs.
3. Building & Aligning the Technology Team
Lead an energetic highperforming and actiondriven technology team.
Be a policing force where necessary ensuring accountability across teams.
Push for prioritization cut through noise focus on what truly matters.
Foster a culture of the team doesn t just recommend it delivers.
4. Technology Infrastructure Security & Compliance
Ensure scalable secure and efficient technology systems.
Own ERP CRM and enterprise applications ensuring they drive efficiency.
Implement technology governance while keeping operations agile.
Ensure compliance with security and data protection regulations.
5. Coordination & Stakeholder Management
Bring together stakeholders and crossfunctional teams supporting transformation.
Bridge business needs and technology capabilities translating ideas into action.
Ensure technology is a strategic enabler and drives operational efficiencies not a reactive support function.
Requirements
Mandatory Requirements
Key Qualifications & Experience
Education & Certifications: Bachelor s or Master s in Technology or Computer Science.
Certifications in cloud cybersecurity AI or digital transformation.
Experience: 10 years in technology leadership driving significant business and digital transformation across multiple countries or several business entities
Technical Expertise:
o Enterprise systems & ERP implementation
o Cloud cybersecurity and emerging technology
o Technology governance and regulatory considerations
o ActionOriented Leadership: Proven ability to focus teams drive accountability and prioritize effectively.
o Energy & Adaptability: Comfortable with ambiguity and change you thrive in it.
