1- Expert Production engineering

Your tasks:

Performs Production Engineering functional activities as directed by the relevant Production engineering leader
Provides regular reports to his/her own superior(s)
Escalates according to defined escalation paths
Provides support in escalation topics from projects / production / quality complaints
Manage and participate within improvement & customer projects
Implements lessons learned best practice and actively shares the information within the Engineering network
Ensures support in
o Activities for development of new production equipment and processes in coordination with Country & Production Management teams
o Planning standardization and realization of Production Engineering activities
o The optimization of processes (e.g. harness evaluation matrix etc.
o The development optimization and implementation of production engineering processes
o The implementation of the production concept and collaborates with Country Concept Team
o The integration of new processes in plant
o The Determination of short & longterm solutions as alternatives for movement of processes on different tools and equipment. Also material alternatives
o The implementation of process flow material flow (Assembly area Manufacturing line setup):
o The definition of the production flow for the process steps
o The implementation of best and standard work place practices
o The definition of the layout of the work stations (in terms of material and methods) according to released standards and process flow
o In defining Kanban quantities Kanban rack design & layouts creation of Kanban cards
o The inventory process Creates documentation for production support (e.g. list for stock takes prepares specific documents for production of samples & aftermarket etc.
Manages realization of workflow organization incl. following:
o Ensure the manufacturing Bill of material creation & modification within the appropriate MRP system e.g. FORs/SIGIP
o Master Data creation and modification including LEPS etc.
o Creation & maintenance of Process FMEA for all production processes
o Creates modifies and maintains all methods of manufacture (work instructions visual aids etc. & ensures machine / operator instructions are present and up to date
o Supervises and controls edited work documents within the assembly area (work instructions visualization)
Implements new products & technical changes (Change Management according CP2.2.2 BIC Cloud)
o Processes documentation: Reviews the technical drawing or change document and component specific documentation (e.g. customer requirements supplier specifications standards etc. to identify including but not restricted to: Required changes New obsolete & changed materials Changes to process flow material flow and Manufacturing capacity etc.
o Identifies new material configurations (e.g. terminal wire Combinations splice combinations twist combinations etc & support the validation activity
o Compiles & validates rework plans
o Provides necessary information investments approval (PAM) and material for ordering new equipment.
o Is responsible for identifying required hand tools deblocking tools etc. and the subsequent release to production.
o Supervision and Coordination of activities across departments and monitors results in order to achieve the defined objectives e.g. Provide training and technical support in production
o Defines the requirements for and coordinates the creation / modification of manufacturing board designs.
o Coordinates the validation & release of production equipment including but not limited to layup boards module boards Jigs test tables / boards & work place.
o Coordinates the first harness release process (Provides support for 1st off manufacture & submission to QM)
General activities
o Creates workshop orders for construction or modification of: layup boards test tables/boards frames trolleys work place connector holders etc.
o Supports the creation of area layouts.

Your Skills:

• Level of Education: University degree
• Branch of Study: Scientific
• Experience: Engineer or equivalent with 3 years of experience or Technician with 6 years of experience
• Language: French and English
• Social competences: Communication /Social & intercultural sensitivity / Change management /Target & result orientation/ Motivation & resilience /Selforganization /Conflict management / Teamwork
• Professional competences : Project Management (basic knowledge) / LEAN tools / Analytical mind / FMEA (basic knowledge) / Mastery of the wiring field
