Role: Automation Lead (Accel Portfolio Company)

About the Role

As the Automation Test Lead at Sprouts.ai you will be responsible for leading our automation testing efforts and ensuring the delivery of highquality software products. With a minimum of 6 years of experience in automation testing you will lead a team of automation engineers designing developing and maintaining automated test suites to support continuous integration and delivery pipelines.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the automation testing team including hiring training mentoring and performance evaluation.

Develop and implement automation testing strategies frameworks and best practices to ensure the reliability and scalability of our software products.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including Development Quality Assurance and DevOps to define automation requirements and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Design develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using playwright/Selenium.

Identify opportunities for test automation and drive the adoption of automation across all phases of the software development lifecycle.

Establish and enforce automation testing standards and guidelines ensuring consistency and quality in automation deliverables.

Analyse test results and defects to identify root causes and provide recommendations for resolution.

Monitor test automation execution and performance identifying and addressing any issues or bottlenecks.

Stay updated on emerging trends technologies and best practices in automation testing incorporating them into our testing processes and methodologies.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define key metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of automation testing efforts.

Act as a subject matter expert on automation testing providing guidance support and training to team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 6 years of experience in automation testing with expertise in designing and implementing automation frameworks and test scripts.

Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium or Playwright.

Strong programming skills in languages such as Java Python JavaScript or similar.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build and deployment processes.

Solid understanding of software testing principles methodologies and best practices.

Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities with a keen attention to detail.

Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders at all levels.

Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Proven track record of successfully leading automation testing initiatives and delivering highquality software products.
