Retail Service Specialist

• Retail Service Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Support Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales customer service store appearance and operations.
  • Assume shift management duties in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager.

• Essential Job Functions:
  • Lead store team to deliver excellent customer service to both retail and professional customers.
  • Supervise retail showroom customer service levels and ensure team executes customer service programs effectively.
  • Answer telephone calls in accordance with company policies.
  • Process buy online/ship to store hub and store to store transfers and DC add orders promptly and notify customers upon shipment arrivals.
  • Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently following procedure and using electronic order ledger.
  • Process retail customer returns and exchanges accurately and in a friendly manner issue refunds correctly and handle returned merchandise appropriately.
  • Invoice all merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
  • Communicate Zipline messages and delegate/comply with Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned.
  • Ensure team adheres to work schedule approve schedule changes/deviations and enforce company clock in/out policy.
  • Perform store opening/closing duties including dayend procedures money/deposit verification bank deposits security checks and vehicle security measures.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

• Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities:
  • Required:
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
  • Desired:
    • Retail sales experience preferably in auto parts.
    • Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
    • ASE Certification.
