THE COMPANY

Our client located in Brisbane's CBD is a prominent member of a global firm with a vast network spanning hundreds of cities worldwide. Specialising in business services audit superannuation tax and specialised services they cater to both local and international clients. Their Business Services team comprising specialized professionals delivers tailored financial strategies robust reporting and effective governance. Serving as an outsourced role within management teams our client fosters stronger relationships with key stakeholders including banks and financiers.

THE OPPORTUNITY

In this role you'll join a dynamic team of highcaliber professionals guided by experienced directors renowned for mentoring successful individuals. With a history of low turnover and diverse clientele across industries this opportunity offers a supportive environment for professional growth and development.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage diverse client portfolio (companies trusts individuals)
  • Communicate regularly via email phone and inperson meetings
  • Prepare tax returns financial statements and handle compliance tasks
  • Provide ad hoc advisory services and identify client opportunities
  • Conduct tax research and offer expert advice
  • Mentor junior staff for professional growth
  • Support directors in client service delivery

EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Hold a degree in Business Accounting or Commerce
  • CPA or Chartered Accountant certification required
  • Minimum five years' experience in Australian public practice accounting
  • Proficiency in Xero and electronic working papers
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work independently and lead junior staff
  • Provide clientfocused advice and tailored solutions
