Our client, a JSE listed international manufacturer, distributor and retailer of energy storage solutions and automotive components is seeking a Financial Manager who will be a part of their finance team at their head The incumbent will work closely with the group finance manager and group finance executive for hands-on Their core responsibility will be to support the finance team with various projects and group reporting The ideal incumbent will have the ability to work and communicate as a part of a high-performance team in a dynamic

Responsibilities:

• Support head-office finance function
• Group reporting and consolidation
• Assist with preparation of report packs and presentations
• Assist with preparation of financial statements
• Assist with external audit
• Assist with tax compliance
• Ad-hoc projects, financial analysis and general support

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• (Hons) / CA (SA)
• 5+ years’ experience in a group financial accounting / reporting role
• Technical skills in terms of consolidations, financial accounting (IFRS), tax and reporting
• Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Hard-working and ability to manage tight deadline
• Experience with IBM Cognos Controller beneficial
