Senior QA Compliance Engineer- Food & Supplements

SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Sr. Quality Assurance Compliance Engineer - Nutritional Products for its rapidly growing consumer product client in Los Angeles, CA(link removed) The individual in this role will be responsible in maintaining environmental sustainability initiatives, policies, and processes while ensuring overall quality systems, food and product safety, social responsibility, and adherence to consumer and retailer standards. Hybrid work schedule available.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Make certain that goods are continuously manufactured in accordance with specifications to satisfy safety, quality, and legal requirements.


• Ensure that all delivered materials and products adhere to the agreed-upon requirements in order to ensure supplier and 3rd Party manufacturing compliance.


• Support the preparation of technical standards and a bill of materials, as well as the evaluation of nutritional and personal care product co-manufacturers.


• Attend productions, trials, and visits from prospective co-manufacturers.


• Regularly update product specification documentation as necessary.


• Take the initiative, oversee, and document an investigation into consumer and customer complaints to guarantee that appropriate corrective and preventive measures are found and taken.


• Ensure the use of basic, transparent procedures to formalize and sustain processes.


• Keep up with any regulatory issues, information from test labs, regulatory groups, and customer-specific requirements. Attend training as necessary.
