Senior Web Developer - Full Stack (m|f|d)

High-traffic websites and big data solutions in the IoT area are the playground of our client. As a high-performer in the industry for highly scalable web services and data streaming technologies, the company works on the implementation of demanding projects for renowned customers. In order to keep the standard high, further training and experimenting with new technologies have high priority. The quality of the project is paramount; only when the team is satisfied is the work done. A Fullstack Developer with a focus on the Frontend (m|f|d) is sought to support the team.

Tasks

• You are the link between front- and backend
• Software and web development in front-end and back-end (focus on frontend):
• Frontend:
• Implementing highly scalable web frontends in collaboration with client UX designers.
• Development of reusable design components
• Selection of appropriate frameworks and tools
• Co-responsibility for cross-project frontend architecture
• Possible tasks in the backend:
• Implementation of highly scalable (micro) services
• Implementation and design of web-based APIs
• Development of distributed, stream-based IoT services
• Joint responsibility for the cross-project backend architecture

Requirements

• You bring several years of experience in full stack development
• You are a strong sparring partner for the frontend developers
• You like to work in a (small) team and believe in agile software development
• You like to take responsibility and feel comfortable discussing frontend topics with others
• You share your knowledge and are always interested in new technologies
• You have an affinity for Open Source
• You are happy when you don't have to use Windows as OS

• Languages: TypeScript/ JavaScript, SQL, Kotlin,
• Frontend: React, Apollo, React-Admin, Redux Toolkit, Storybook,
• Build Tools: Yarn, Webpack, Gradle, ...
• APIs: GraphQL, REST
• Tools: Micronaut, Gradle, KSQL, Kafka-Streams, Docker, GraalVM
• State: PostgreSQL, Kafka, CrateDB, Elasticsearch, S3
• Deployment: Kubernetes, Docker Swarm
• Infrastructure: DigitalOcean, AWS
