Technical Sales Manager - Electrical

Responsibilities:

- Bidding preparation and product sourcing in local Africa

- Finding information for the business chance based on the relationship with client.

- Evaluate the tender RFQ document and make clarification / deviation document or propose optimized design for cost reduction.

- Make technical proposal for tender (Power transformer, GIS Substation, Renewable connection, ESS, STATCOM and etc)

- Execution the awarded order project and coordinate with factory design division.

Qualifications

The Technical Sales Manager is responsible for sales support by technically such as making technical background for proposal based on relationship with client technical department about power transformer, GIS, BESS, STATCOM.

1. Essential Functions:

Understanding substation systems of varying size and complexity under the direction of Electrical Engineering Manager. Activities may include, but not be limited to, the following:

- Understanding of Basic design : Theory of power equipment, BESS, and Fact System. The engineering of substation or balance of plant including single line diagram, Layout,

- Review the equipment specification and prepare the request for quotation of substation equipment and installation equipment

- Understanding of power system study such as load flow, short circuit calculation, insulation coordination and etc.

- Coordinating equipment delivery and design engineering to meet construction schedules.

- Coordination work with other disciplines and/or offices to ensure project requirements are consistent.

- Computer skill for MS-Office,

2. Having an understanding for high voltage electricity & renewable energy business)

3. Be familiar with the International Standards, National Electric Safety Code, Companys drawing system and the Companys design and construction standards.

4. Preferred for experienced candidates who work related power transformer (132kV to 400kV)

5. Preferred for experienced candidates who has a relationship with utilities and various EPC company in South Africa.

6. 7+ years related experience or equivalent in designing substation or each product (GIS/TR/BESS/FACTs) in Africa
