ملخص الوظيفة
Procurement & Sourcing:
Source and procure mechanical materials and equipment (HVAC piping pumps valves ducting fire-fighting systems and other mechanical components).
Coordinate with design and technical teams to fully understand project specifications and BOQs.
Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to suppliers and subcontractors.
Analyze technical and commercial offers to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Negotiate prices payment terms and delivery schedules to achieve cost-effective procurement solutions.
Supplier & Vendor Management:
Identify evaluate and prequalify new suppliers and subcontractors for mechanical works.
Monitor supplier performance regarding quality delivery and pricing.
Resolve issues related to delays non-compliance or equipment defects.
Cost Control & Budgeting:
Assist in preparing procurement budgets for mechanical scopes.
Monitor and control material and equipment costs to ensure alignment with approved project budgets.
Review quotations cost breakdowns and invoices for accuracy and compliance.
Project Coordination:
Coordinate with PMO project managers site engineers and MEP teams to ensure timely delivery of mechanical items.
Track procurement schedules to prevent project delays.
Attend project meetings to provide updates on procurement status and risks.
Contract Management:
Draft and review contracts and purchase orders for mechanical suppliers and subcontractors.
Ensure contractual compliance with company policies and project requirements.
Follow up on payment schedules and resolve contractual disputes when necessary.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate procurement records including purchase orders approvals delivery logs and payment status.
Provide regular procurement reports to management.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering (3 to 5 years).
Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement of mechanical works within construction companies.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment specifications.
Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
Strong analytical and cost control abilities.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in large-scale building or industrial mechanical projects.
Familiarity with ERP systems.
Required Skills:
