Job Summary
IFF Egypt
- Support the development of new food products through bench-top formulation and prototyping.
- Assist in optimizing existing formulations and contributing to laboratory and pilot-scale trials.
- Conduct experimental testing (e.g. pH moisture viscosity) on ingredients and finished products.
- Participate in sensory evaluation by organizing taste panels collecting feedback and supporting product optimization.
- Accurately document experimental data including observations ingredient measurements and process parameters.
- Support regulatory compliance activities including ingredient statements nutritional analysis and labeling requirements.
- Maintain a clean organized and compliant laboratory environment including equipment calibration.
- Apply quality hygiene safety and food safety standards in all activities.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelors degree in Food Science Food Technology Nutrition or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of food safety hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets for data tracking and reporting.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail essential for accurate formulation and testing.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret experimental and sensory data.
- Curiosity and interest in food chemistry and ingredient interactions.
- Creativity in suggesting new ideas and formulation improvements.
- Flexibility and adaptability to evolving project needs.
