At Eni we are looking for a Business Development Advisor within lEOC Production B.V. in Cairo. You will be responsible for supporting the negotiation of new business opportunities in the upstream oil and gas sector ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and commercial objectives. You will also contribute to exploration farm-ins and farm-outs mergers and acquisitions and partnership deals while safeguarding compliance with regulatory frameworks and maximising value for stakeholders.

Main responsibilities

• Support negotiations of new business opportunities in the upstream oil and gas sector.
• Contribute to exploration farm-ins and farm-outs mergers and acquisitions and partnership deals.
• Assist with renewals and extensions of petroleum contracts.
• Provide analytical and legal-commercial support for strategic projects.

Skills and experience required

• Some previous professional experience.
• Masters degree (or equivalent) in Economics International Private Law or Engineering from a leading international university.
• Native-level fluency in both English and Arabic; Italian would be an advantage.
• International academic or professional exposure; previous experience in the energy sector would be beneficial.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid commercial acumen with a results-driven mindset.
• Familiarity with legal English and Arabic used in contract negotiations.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in multicultural environments.
