Cactus Feeders operates 10 feedlots with a capacity of some 520,000 head of cattle, which it beefs up and sells to meat packers. The company's feedyards are located in Texas and Kansas. It also provides market analysis, marketing services, Cactus Feeders offers financing for its rancher/suppliers. Oh, and about Oprah, Engler and other cattle ranchers unsuccessfully sued Winfrey and a guest after a 1996 broadcast of Winfrey's TV program, The Oprah Show, disparaged the beef industry.
