Cactus Feeders is an Amarillo Texasbased cattle company. Originally founded by the Engler Family in 1975 today we operate15 Feedyards andOutside Cattle Locationsproducing over a million head of fed cattle annually. The Company has locations throughout the Texas Panhandle Southwest Kansas and Eastern Colorado.

Job Description:
Cactus Feedyard is seeking a Tractor Operator to join our team. The Tractor Operator is responsible for operating a large model tractor to support the operation of pen cleaning and onsite maintenance projects.
About the Position:
- Operate large tractors
- Maintain and follow all Cactus Operating and OSHA Safety Guidelines
- Assist the mill and maintenance crew to complete assigned tasks as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Able to work in a team environment and able to execute selfdirected assignments with little supervision
- Able to work in elevated areas in a variety of environmental conditions (heat cold dust etc. climb stairs/ladders sit and stand for extended periods
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
- Display strong communication skills (oral)
Qualifications
- High school GED or completion of Technical or Trade School certificate (Preferred but not required)
- 12 years of Heavy Equipment and/or Tractor Operation (preferred but willing to train)
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
