Job Summary:
Our partner is hiring a Lead Cyber Security Engineer that will be leading a team to complete security consultation with customers, conducting first-grade assessments and producing technical analysis, and recommendations reports. They are specialized technical experts in several domains of cybersecurity and can lead and supervise their team members. Also, they keep abreast of the latest information security threats and vulnerabilities to proactively help customers stay secure.
Responsibilities:
• Lead complete cybersecurity consultation services including security assessments, penetration tests, and risk mitigation/remediation planning in several domains of cybersecurity.
• Identify efficient ways to protect the infrastructure, software, and information systems against any potential attacks
• Conduct security testing, threat analysis, and risk assessments of technological vulnerabilities.
• Research on new vulnerabilities threats and countermeasures.
• Scope out new project opportunities and decide on the best suitable services that fit their needs
• Investigate and provide security solutions using business-standard analysis criteria.
• Spearhead shaping security services methodologies that relate to cybersecurity services provided
• Lead team members and be accountable for the team s execution
• Lead and facilitate communication between team members to achieve the best results
• Supervise technical execution of team members
• Write documentation, analysis, and recommendation full reports
• Contribute to the review of internal processes and activities and assist in identifying potential opportunities for improvement
• Conduct awareness and explanatory presentations to the customers
• Mentor and guide juniors through customer engagements
Requirements:
• Long experience in working with different methodologies
• Experience in working with diverse types of customers and segments
• A long track record of projects done successfully with good quality
• Experience in handling tough customer situations that requires mastery of both technical and business aspects of information security
• Experience in SecOps and tooling automation
• Has significant contributions to the community such as: Participated and won competitions, spoken in conferences, published papers, written blog articles, Built open-source tools
• Maintaining good relationships with customers
• Mastering of at least two domains of cybersecurity and very good experience with at least three more domains (Web security, Mobile security, Server security, Network security, Desktop app security, VoIP security, Secure software development, Telecom security, Incident handling, Forensic Analysis, Exploit writing, Compliance standards, Governance process, Risk assessment)
• Analyzing vulnerabilities to produce recommendations
• Documenting vulnerabilities, threats, and risks, and writing full engagement reports
• Risk assessing vulnerabilities based on probability, impact, and customer sensitivity
• Keeping abreast of new attacks and vulnerabilities
• Computer science, communications, or computer engineering degree
• Information security certificates (Bonus): SANS, EC-Council, eLearn Security, Offensive Security, Conference courses
