Fleet Engineer

Job Description

• Ensure all workshop equipment maintenance plans are performed properly.
• Supervise the maintenance of Cars (Trucks, Jumbo & Institutional), cranes and forklifts (Diesel, Electrical).
• Identifying the required spare parts that are not available and coordinating with the concerned departments to order them.
• Supervise the turning and welding works.
• Participate in projects, like: Pipes design, mechanical installations.
• Organize and supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of the workshop section activity is carried out in an efficient manner which is consistent with operating procedures and policy.
• Implement all plans and programs set for workshop mechanical work and follow them up continuously.
• Follow up fixing breakdowns timely and accurately to reduce downtimes.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong previous experience in fleet engineering.
• Excellent in English.
• Strong reporting skills.
• Excellent communication, time management and leadership skills.
