Job Description
Location: Egypt (on-site with regional collaboration)
Working hours: Full-time
Are you passionate about creating safer more sustainable workplaces and driving positive cultural change in HSSE Fugro is looking for an HSSE Business Partner 2 to join our team in this strategic role youll support our operations by embedding health safety security and environmental excellence into every part of our business. Youll collaborate with leaders clients and teams to align HSSE with business priorities reduce risks and foster a proactive safety culture that makes a real impact.
Your role & responsibilities
- Translate Fugros HSSE strategy into actionable plans tailored to business line needs and projects.
- Partner with leadership and operations teams to ensure HSSE integration across daily activities and long-term planning.
- Provide expert advice on compliance operational risk management and client-specific HSSE requirements.
- Lead and coach HSSE professionals while fostering a culture of care psychological safety and continuous improvement.
- Support incident investigations share lessons learned and drive performance improvements across projects.
- Monitor KPIs assess risks and ensure business-specific HSSE actions are implemented successfully.
What youll need to thrive in this role
- Bachelors degree in a scientific/technical discipline.
- 10 years experience in HSSE preferably in Oil & Gas with 3 years in management.
- Certifications such as NEBOSH Certified Safety Professional ISO 45001 & 9001 Lead Auditor.
- Strong leadership risk assessment and advisory skills with proven ability to influence stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
