This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and supporting lodge operations at the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with in-house guests daily to foster a guest-centric hospitality culture
Support the delivery of a seamless luxury guest experience ensuring all daily operations align with the lodge s brand and service standards
Maintain and uphold brand values in both appearance and behaviour
Foster a positive company culture that supports recognition and rewards across all levels of staff
Assist the Lodge Manager in operational planning and strategy execution
Implement effective systems and controls to ensure sustainability and responsible resource use
Ensure hospitality DNA and service ethos are embraced by all staff
Act as Lodge Manager during periods of leave
Host guests on alternate nights and lead the hosting of group bookings
Participate as a key member of the management team leading by example and upholding reliability and accountability
Build and maintain positive relationships with relevant government bodies
Oversee and monitor stock orders related to lodge operations
Qualifications & Experience Required:
Minimum of 4 years relevant management experience in a 5-star establishment
Strong background in lodge operations
Hospitality qualifications advantageous
Excellent command of English (spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage
Skills Required:
High attention to detail
Proven leadership and management capabilities
Ability to motivate and guide staff
Creative and collaborative problem-solving skills
Strong understanding of lodge functions including butler service housekeeping and laundry
Proficient in relevant computer systems

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated and organised with a strong sense of responsibility
