Communications & PR Executive
This position is responsible for providing daily administrative support and being a contributing member of the Public Relations team.
- Assist with the planning and execution of promotional events press conferences and community outreach initiatives. Coordinate logistics manage invitations and provide on-site support as needed.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of press releases media kits and other materials.
- Update media kits maintain media database and compile press clippings for monthly reports.
- Contribute to strategic planning sessions with ideas and research.
- Provide regular departmental status updates and circulate communications meeting notes.
- Provide administrative assistance to the PR team including scheduling meetings managing calendars preparing LPOs and organizing files and documents. Assist in preparing presentations reports and other materials as needed.
- Ensure that all team members are well-informed about company news offers activities and happenings.
Qualifications :
- Diploma or degree in Business Marketing or Communications an asset.
- Experience in PR Marketing or Communications preferably in the hospitality industry for at least 2 years
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills highly organized detail-oriented and a team player.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Highly motivated self-starter capable of delivering on a diverse range of projects often involving tight deadlines and competing priorities.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint)..
- Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times.
