The opportunity
We are seeking a bi-lingual (Arabic and English) senior risk management professional to oversee risk activities for our Technology Consulting sub-service line across the Middle East and Pakistan. The role covers the full consulting lifecycle from qualifying opportunities and reviewing contracts to monitoring project risks and advising on issues through to project closure. You will work closely with Technology Consulting leadership and engagement teams providing commercially sound practical risk advice on a diverse portfolio of technology transformation systems implementation cybersecurity and data projects.
Purpose of the role
To manage risk for the firms Technology Consulting sub-service line by ensuring that projects are qualified contracted and delivered within the firms risk appetite while supporting business growth protecting the firms interests and promoting sound risk management practices across the consulting lifecycle.
Your key responsibilities
- Act as the primary risk management advisor for the Technology Consulting Service Line across the Middle East and Pakistan.
- Review and qualify new consulting opportunities to assess commercial legal delivery and reputational risks.
- Provide risk-based input and guidance on commercial proposals pricing models contracting positions and scope definitions.
- Participate in contract reviews and negotiations advising on risk mitigation strategies and appropriate contract terms.
- Review and work closely with project teams to assess risks related to the use of subcontractors alliance partners and other third-parties.
- Monitor project risks during delivery including changes in scope commercial issues resourcing and client relationship concerns.
- Support engagement teams in managing emerging risks issue resolution and client escalations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with the firms risk management and other related policies approval protocols local regulations and quality standards.
- Conduct risk training awareness sessions and proactive risk reviews with Technology Consulting teams.
- Collaborate with other Risk Management team members supporting Business People and Risk Consulting service lines to share insights align practices and manage cross-service line risks.
- Provide timely reporting and escalation of high-risk matters to regional Risk Leadership and Service Line leadership

To qualify for the role you must have
- Bachelors degree in Law Business Risk Management Technology or a related field.
- Minimum 810 years of professional experience in risk management contracting or commercial management preferably within a professional services technology or consulting environment.
- Solid understanding of consulting engagement structures delivery risks and commercial contracting practices preferably in the Middle East region.
- Experience advising on contractual risks third-party and subcontractor arrangements and regulatory considerations in technology-led projects.
- Professional certifications such as IRM Certificate/Diploma PMP or CISA/CISM are desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Arabic is a must and in English
