About the Role
The Director of Spa will oversee the spa operations and lead a team of professionals in delivering exceptional wellness experiences that align with FAENAs luxury brand standards. This individual will be instrumental in creating a unique and transformative wellness experience for guests ensuring the spa services meet the highest standards of quality consistency and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Spa Operations Management: Lead all aspects of spa operations ensuring a seamless and luxurious experience for all guests. Oversee daily operations staffing service standards and the implementation of all operational policies and procedures.
Team Leadership and Development: Recruit train and develop a highly skilled team of spa professionals fostering a culture of excellence and creating a positive work environment.
Guest Experience: Ensure the highest level of personalized service for spa guests exceeding expectations and providing a holistic wellness experience that aligns with FAENAs culture and brand values.
Financial Oversight: Manage the spa budget financial performance and revenue generation initiatives. Monitor profitability control costs and implement strategies to enhance revenue streams through treatments products and spa packages.
Product and Service Innovation: Regularly assess and evolve the spa menu introducing new and innovative treatments and wellness programs that appeal to our highend clientele. Ensure all spa offerings remain in line with global wellness trends and guest expectations.
Collaboration with Management: Work closely with the Hotel Manager F&B and other departments to ensure seamless integration of the spa services within the broader hotel experience. Ensure all spa activities are aligned with FAENAs brand values and operational goals.
Compliance and Health & Safety: Ensure adherence to health and safety standards industry regulations and FAENAs internal policies regarding spa operations and guest wellbeing.
Brand Representation: Be a brand ambassador for FAENA ensuring that all spa services and experiences reflect the luxury art and cultural values of the brand. Foster a strong understanding of the FAENA culture and its commitment to excellence.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 57 years of experience in luxury spa management with a proven track record in a senior leadership role ideally in preopening or highend resort/spa environments.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire mentor and motivate a diverse team.
Expert knowledge of spa operations including service standards financial management team development and wellness trends.
Passion for wellness with a deep understanding of the spa industry treatments and wellness offerings.
Exceptional guest service orientation with the ability to anticipate and exceed guest expectations.
Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Knowledge of local regulations related to health safety and wellness services.
Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
