Black & Grey HR is recruiting on behalf of a diversified Holding Group headquartered in Riyadh Saudi Arabia seeking a Chief Legal Officer (CLO). Our client is searching for an accomplished CLO to provide strategic leadership and oversight for all legal affairs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for endtoend management of legal matters including contract negotiation regulatory compliance litigation strategy and corporate governance frameworks. Expertise in executive leadership within highgrowth environments is essential along with a proven track record of aligning legal strategy with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide executive leadership oversight and direction of all legal matters including contracts regulatory compliance litigation and corporate governance.
Represent the company s legal interests in interactions with external parties regulators and stakeholders.
Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks and ensure ethical conduct.
Review draft and negotiate a wide range of legal documents and contracts with clients suppliers partners and employees.
Ensure that contracts comply with legal regulatory and organizational policies and procedures.
Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may affect the company and recommend proactive strategies to address legal challenges.
Lead and manage the legal team by providing guidance mentorship and fostering a highperformance culture.
Provide legal advice and guidance to company management on a variety of issues.
Advise on corporate governance practices and corporate secretarial functions ensuring compliance with statutes and regulations.
Guide the board of directors and senior management on the legal implications of corporate strategies and decisions.
Requirements
A master s degree in law is a must.
A minimum of 9 years of legal experience in a corporate legal department with a significant portion of that experience in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of the real estate industry and sectorspecific laws and regulations.
Proven track record in negotiations contract management and risk assessment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively at all levels.
