Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with handson experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines managing cloud infrastructure ensuring system scalability and reliability and collaborating with development teams to streamline operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design implement and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and testing.
- Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and optimize system architecture.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning configuration and maintenance using tools such as Terraform Ansible or equivalent.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance across all cloud environments.
- Collaborate with software development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
- Manage container orchestration using Kubernetes (GKE).
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery planning.
- Maintain detailed documentation of architecture and operational processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Compute Engine Cloud Functions Cloud Storage Cloud SQL and GKE.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI or CircleCI.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools specifically Kubernetes.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python Bash or Shell.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer certification.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus Grafana or ELK stack.
- Knowledge of networking and security within cloud environments.
- Experience with microservices architecture and serverless frameworks.
