Job Summary

Our Client in the retail industry is seeking a Lubricants Manager who will be responsible for driving the growth profitability and operational excellence of the organizations lubricants portfolio.

Responsibilities :
  • Develop and execute annual quarterly and monthly business plans to achieve sales volume revenue and gross margin targets.
  • Identify and optimize distribution channels including retail forecourts authorized distributors independent workshops and direct B2B segments (such as mining manufacturing and logistics).
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends competitor activities pricing architectures and market threats (such as parallel imports or counterfeit products) to proactively adjust business strategies.
  • Recruit onboard and manage performance frameworks for regional distributors. Establish credit limits trading terms and volume incentive structures.
  • Directly oversee high-value B2B commercial accounts. Lead the preparation technical bidding and negotiation of long-term supply agreements and tenders.
  • Coordinate monthly demand forecasting to align with the Supply Chain and Blending Plant teams minimizing stock-outs while optimizing working capital.
  • Oversee the product portfolio including new product introductions (NPI) localized packaging initiatives and rationalization of slow-moving SKUs.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams or laboratories to provide value-added services to customers (e.g. oil analysis programs lubrication auditing and equipment compatibility assessments
Key Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of lubricant formulations base oils additives and their technical applications in automotive and industrial machinery.
  • Strong proficiency in P&L management financial data analysis margin optimization and volume budgeting.
  • Proven ability to negotiate high-stakes commercial contracts and maintain long-term relationships with distributors and corporate buyers.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration Marketing Chemical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • At least 2 3 years in a leadership or team management capacity
