Job Summary
The Loss Control Team Leader is responsible for leading the Groups loss control function by identifying and mitigating business risks conducting audits and investigations ensuring regulatory and policy compliance managing insurance claims and implementing effective internal controls to minimise losses and safeguard company assets.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement risk assessment audit and loss prevention strategies across the business.
- Plan and conduct operational financial compliance and forensic audits including stock takes.
- Lead investigations into fraud theft misconduct and other loss-related incidents liaising with law enforcement and legal authorities where required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies regulatory requirements and internal control standards.
- Manage insurance claims and coordinate loss recovery processes.
- Prepare audit investigation and risk reports with recommendations for corrective action.
- Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and maintain the corporate risk register.
- Lead coach and manage the Loss Control team to achieve departmental objectives and performance targets.
Key Skills:
- Minimum of 5 8 years experience in internal audit risk management loss control investigations or compliance with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of internal controls fraud investigations risk management auditing standards and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical leadership report writing communication and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting Internal Auditing Risk Management Criminology Business Administration or a related discipline.
