Junior Design Technician

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled professional to join their design team.

The role is suited to someone with strong SolidWorks capabilities and an interest or background in agricultural engineering.

Main Responsibilities:

• Create and update 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks.
• Assist with irrigation system design and layout planning.
• Develop models for structures and equipment such as pump houses pontoons and related components.
• Work closely with the design team to support ongoing projects and technical requirements.
• Ensure designs are accurate practical and aligned with project specifications.

Key Skills:

• Proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Experience in 3D modelling and technical design.
• Background in agricultural engineering irrigation or related technical fields is an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Qualifications:

• Certificate Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering Agricultural Engineering Irrigation Engineering Design Engineering or a related field
• Proficiency in SolidWorks is essential.
• Experience in 3D modelling and technical drafting/design.
• Exposure to irrigation systems or agricultural projects will be an added advantage.
