Job Summary
On behalf of our client we are seeking a Production Supervisor Repacking to join their manufacturing team.
This is an entry-level role suitable for recent graduates.
Salary and Benefits:
- USD 700 gross
Main Responsibilities:
- Production planning & scheduling: prepare clear daily weekly and monthly plans and a rolling 2-week schedule that turn the demand requirement into compliant finished units; sequence products and pack sizes logically to minimise full clean-downs changeovers repeated set-ups and idle time - within the rule that only two lines run at once.
- Standard times & output standards: establish and control standard times for filling mixing packing cleaning changeover line clearance and batch close-out and define standard output times by product and pack size (e.g. how long it should take to repack a set volume such as 600 L into 500 ml 1 L or 5 L packs); monitor actual performance against these standards through the day.
- Capacity & bottleneck elimination: establish a realistic optimum capacity then identify and remove bottlenecks - poor workflow late start-up idle labour missing materials equipment delays slow filling excessive cleaning time documentation delays rejects rework and product failures.
- Start-up readiness & parallel working: ensure production starts on time with personnel materials packaging components labels equipment documents cleaning items and PPE ready before the shift; prepare the next batch in advance and run activities in parallel; hold the end-of-day wash-down to 30 minutes while a second team sets up for the next day.
- Team leadership engagement & delegation: allocate tasks keep operators productively engaged and eliminate loitering idle time and duplicated effort; rotate operators through the repetitive filling capping and sealing positions to maintain alertness and 100% accuracy; support training discipline performance monitoring and floor accountability.
- Quality GMP & documentation: ensure work follows approved SOPs and that line clearance material and in-process checks reconciliation cleaning records logbooks and batch documentation are completed correctly and on time; ensure product is correctly handed to quarantine for QA testing and release.
- Hygiene contamination control & inspection-readiness: enforce personnel hygiene correct PPE and clean production behaviour to prevent contamination cross-contamination and mix-ups; keep the area plant equipment utensils and surfaces clean orderly functional and inspection-ready before during and after production in the correct air conditions (HVAC vs solvent supply/extraction).
- Equipment & cost efficiency: ensure equipment is available functional correctly used and not left idle; reduce avoidable waste rejects rework spillages and material losses so that fixed costs are absorbed over more units and the conversion cost per bottle falls.
- Reporting & escalation: report daily output utilisation downtime rejects and plan attainment and promptly escalate shortages breakdowns deviations safety issues GMP risks repeated delays and unresolved constraints to the Production Manager and relevant departments.
- Deliver against the following key outcomes:
- Maximum sustained productivity - a realistic optimum capacity and consistent achievement of it run after run at or above standard output rates.
- Established and enforced standard times and output standards by product and pack size used to plan the day and to detect slow running early.
- Plans (daily/weekly/monthly and a 2-week rolling schedule) that meet the demand requirement with the fewest clean-downs and changeovers and the highest practical use of the two lines.
- Bottlenecks and idle time systematically identified and removed; the line kept moving and the team kept engaged.
- Full GMP and SOP compliance - accurate on-time line clearance reconciliation and batch records and a clean inspection-ready area at all times.
- A downward trend in conversion cost per bottle minimum waste/rejects/rework and zero avoidable branch stock-outs

Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma or higher qualification in Chemical Technology Biochemistry Production Technology or another relevant scientific or manufacturing-related discipline.
- Previous experience in a regulated manufacturing environment would be preferred.
