Job Summary

We are looking for a young Graduate Trainee to join our clients cyber security training program.
Salary and Benefits:

Responsibilities:
  • Triage security alerts and learn how to write and tune detection content in industry-standard rule languages.
  • Run authenticated vulnerability scans manage the vulnerability register and drive remediation conversations with system owners.
  • Help configure cloud-native security tooling - policy-as-code network segmentation identity controls posture monitoring.
  • Support the security posture of enterprise AI tooling including data-loss-prevention controls audit logging and Shadow-AI detection.
  • Build automation in Python PowerShell or Bash to reduce manual security work (evidence collection log forwarding dashboards register hygiene).
  • Assist with incident response under senior leadership - observe document contribute progressively across the 18 months.
  • Help prepare and support external audits and assessor engagements (PCI-DSS ISO 27001 ISAE 3402 cycles).
  • Produce clear written work - runbooks evidence packs post-incident reports register entries - to a standard fit for external audit.
  • Develop AI literacy in security operations: use AI tools to accelerate research code review and log analysis while maintaining human-in-the-loop discipline on every control decision.
Key Skills:
  • Foundational programming literacy in at least one of Python PowerShell or Bash - enough to read write and debug small scripts.
  • Familiarity with cloud concepts (any major provider - Microsoft Azure AWS GCP).
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP DNS HTTP firewalls) and operating-system basics (Linux and Windows).
  • Comfort using version control (Git) and command-line tools.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum upper-second-class honours or higher Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Security Computer Engineering Software Engineering or a closely related discipline.
