This position will average 18 hours per week; shifts are anticipated to go from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Friday and 9:00 am to 2:00 pm or 10:30 am to 3:30 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

You treat everyone with respect and are comfortable adapting your communication based on the audience and always communicate inclusively.
• Are A Strong Multi-tasker: You are comfortable managing multiple tasks and projects with high energy. You love to use your creative problem skills and are flexible when changes arise.

YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support visitors to ensure a positive zoo experience.
• Support Zoomazium operations and public programming.
• Maintain an environment aimed at the safety and well-being of Zoomazium guests following all safety protocols.
• Present creative mission-driven programming.
• Facilitate day-to-day operations for Zoomazium including opening procedures closing procedures and responding to incidents

QUALIFICATIONS

• One (1) or more years of combined education and experience in early childhood natural science or environmental education.
• Provide crowd control group management and basic customer service.
• Basic computer communication and mathematics skills.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old and live in Washington State.
