Compensation
Pay Rate: $2000 $2550 Weekly (Based on Experience)
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety comfort and adherence to radiation safety standards.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
Operate X-ray and fluoroscopy equipment safely and effectively.
Produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while explaining the examination process.
Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation using electronic medical record systems.
Adhere to radiation safety regulations infection prevention protocols and departmental policies.
Collaborate with radiologists physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.
Ensure imaging equipment is maintained and functioning properly reporting issues as needed.
Required Qualifications
Active California Radiologic Technologist License.
Fluoroscopy Permit.
ARRT (R) Certification.
Current BLS Certification.
Minimum one (1) year of X-Ray Technologist experience.
Pending licenses will not be accepted.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in acute care or hospital-based imaging environments.
Familiarity with Epic EMR systems.
Strong communication patient care and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
Assignment Details
13-week contract with possibility of extension.
Day shift schedule: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM.
